Books... are they going the way of the Dodo?

Post by Spooky_Zalost on Sun Mar 20, 2011 7:32 am

ok well in the last few months several important changes have happened, many book stores including borders, have closed down many of their facilities because buying things online is more convenient.

MP3 players are replacing CD's, blockbuster is practically gone thanks to Netflix.

and with services like hulu and on demand, who needs to buy movies anymore....

I want your opinions on this, how do you think it will affect your daily lives with books, movies, and music becoming digital and their current "archaic" formats going the way of the Vinyl or the VHS!

Oh definately, but thats just progress. Books, CD's, blockbuster....all going to be completely obsolete within ten years. (thank the interwebs for that)

There is good reason though, it's because there are cheaper, easier, quicker and cheaper (there twice for importantness) and eventually they will go the way of the dodo as more people become aware of the cheapness and easiness of the alternatives. Heck, eventually there will become alternatives to E-Books and MP3's and they will die out. Tis just progress.
