how would you greet them?

this is a new topic for people to consider it's more of a what if scenario and a simple question to get the brains buzzing.

ok here goes!

if sometime in the next year or so ships or beings of unkown origin were to reveal themselves to us, either by appearing in the sky, sending a message to us, ect... how would you greet them? what would you say? what sorta questions would you ask?

there are 3 even types, Peaceful, Neutral, Hostile, in each type you can pick a scenario for example, hostile could be something like... an armada appears over earth and delivers an ultimatum, surrender or die, something like that.

ok I will start even type first contact, peaceful.

how would I greet them? I would try to appear non threatening and treat them as a guest as best I could, that doesn't mean I wouldn't keep an eye on them lol, they aren't from here so who knows what their customs and motives might be?!

but I would probably ask them about where they came from, what it's like ect... what their culture is like, how they found earth, ect... and finally I would probably ask if I could go with them, why?

Simple, I would love the opertunity to visit another world, who wouldn't? especially if the race there is very advanced and peaceful!

Who knows, they are un known, no body knows of them, or about them, so I would agree, I would be peaceful, and non threatening to see what they wanted, if they use me, I will terminate them.
