false awakenings Empty false awakenings

Post by brian48 Wed Dec 29, 2010 10:14 pm

Something else that can occur, although be in less frequently than "sleep paralysis",
is something know as having a "false awakening".. FA's seem to occur more frequently
as one gets better at having either Lucid dreams or OBE's..

What happens is you think you are awake but you are actually still in a dream state. This
is typically one of the lighter sleeping states. Often times you see sorta a dream replica of your
bedroom and many of the common items in your bedroom your used to seeing on a daily basis.

FA's are difficult to recognize as such in the dream state, and the bad news is they can ruin
some great LD expeiriences Sad

The solution to them is to practice a lot of reality tests which are related to FA's, and with some
hard work you will be able to gradually recognize these troublesome FA's, and it wont ruin some
of your LD's and Obes..

Thanks, brian
